Wayne has been serving the Greater Lafayette community via Meals on Wheels for over 10 years. He began as a kitchen aide/delivery driver while he was attending college, and the mission of Meals on Wheels instantly grabbed his heart. He quickly worked his way up to becoming the Program Coordinator. Upon graduating, Wayne chose to continue running the Meals on Wheels program rather than pursue a career with his Computer Information Technology Degree. In December 2015, Meals on Wheels of Tippecanoe County dissolved as an agency, and Tippecanoe Senior Services picked up Meals on Wheels as a program, bringing in Wayne to continue as Program Coordinator for Meals On Wheels of Greater Lafayette. Wayne continues to be involved in Meals on Wheels as Operations Manager for Tippecanoe Senior Services. In his spare time, he enjoys PC gaming, fishing, gardening, hunting, and spending time with his family.
